In 2000, Lara Kazan kicked off her line of "Lara Legs", a feminine, vintage inspired line of hand-crocheted legwear. "I was in the audience at a fashion show and the women next to me asked, where did you get those socks?" It turns out she was a stylist, and a month later Kirsten Dunst wore them on the cover of Flaunt Magazine.
After two successful seasons of "Lara Legs" selling in various boutiques and department stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and Fred Segal, Lara decided to broaden her collection to a full line of knit accessories. Her products since have been featured in numerous Magazines, Fashion blogs, Daily Candy, and recently seen in the popular series Gossip Girl.
Today Lara's line includes not only her signature "lara Legs" and knit accessories, but also substantial knit outerwear pieces combined with leather trimming and hardware, as well as vintage inspired sweaters, and knit dresses.
